faster way to chop samples in trim mode...

Is there a faster way to chop thru samples in the TRIM mode of the MPC 1000? In the MPC 2000 and 2000 xl you can use the wheel to speed thru the wave to the exact point you want to trim it. With the mpc 1000 you have to enter the number, is that the ONLY way to get this done???

The wheel on the 1000 is toooo slow, you cant cover a lot of ground when trimming with how the wheel is set up now. Thanks in advance!

common one this... when you highlight the start or end field in trim mode, hit shift and arrow left to ignore the units when spinning the wheel. press it again to ignore the ten, again for thousands, etc... youll see what i mean..
