Does sandisk CF work?

Anyone try the sandisk Compact Flash cards with the MPC1000?
I have trouble finding the redommended cards found on the akai site.
I tried 5 shops and they only sell sandisk.

I bought a sandisk at for like a month or to it would freeze when i was trying load files but now it works like nothing was ever wrong, Good on my part, i guess. Akai told me they fixed it up on an update but i dont know if it was true or not.

I bought me a 128MB CF card from sandisk and it works perfectly.
No money thrown away.
