mpc 1000bk fixed pads?

hey. i want to purchase a used mpc1000bk. the mpc was bought in 2012 from thomann. i read that there were problems with the pads of the 1000 but that akai fixed it with the bk-n and partially with the bk. can i be sure that a relatively new version of the 1000bk already has the fixed pads?
