Problem with OS update and EXM128

I attempted to update the OS to MPC1000 OS 2.13, but my memory card slot is broken so it couldn't boot the new OS. After that it only boots to this BootBlock screen.

It reads like this:

MPC1000 BootBlock v1.03
Boot on SODIMM memory check mode
Total memory size : 128MBytes
Check memory......
pass 1 : failed(88000000)
The problem was found in memory.
Please check the memory.
system halt.....

It isn't because I have incompatible memory because it is the actual Akai EXM128 that was working fine for 6 months prior to this error.

I REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS, I CAN'T DO ANY MUSIC...

I managed to get it to boot up properly by removing the EXM128 and allowing to boot on factory 16MB, then I updated the OS via the Load Mode, I'm about to put the EXM128 back in to see if I still have the memory problem.
