Triggering sequences with midi?

I have nuendo and the mpc1000 synced up and it's working pretty nice. However, is there any way to change sequences with midi? i'd like to be able to record the sequence changes within my host (nuendo) with midi.

I'm currently working around this by going into song mode on the mpc and writting out the sequences. Maybe there's a way to edit the song mode through my host with midi?

I am not sure what you are asking.

" record the sequence changes within my host "

These are not necessarily the same thing.

well if i can "change sequences with midi" then i CAN "record the sequences changes within my host."

You can on the MPC2000XL, not the MPC1000 budget model.
