i don't "export" the tracks... i run the 6 separate outputs [including stereo L/R] into my mackie onyx mixer/interface and record them all into ableton live on separate tracks all at once. but you obviously need an interface with multiple inputs to accomplish that. i'd much rather do that then have to manually align the tracks one by one later...

regarding the above post... the blank bar at the beginning definitely helps... but another way is to add a bar with a single sound played once at the beginning [maybe just a simple bleep or a hi-hat or whatever]... that way you can align all the tracks by aligning that sound in the first "blank" bar... and then once all tracks are perfectly aligned, you cut that blank bar out... makes sense, right?

Indeed I will have to do it like that since I only have a 2 input Mbox running with Protools.
But so, do I record the main output straight to Protools with each track on solo, each at a time? Is that the way?
