Hey everybody, I seem to have a problem when it comes to creating an audio mixdown of my songs. When it asks you to save your song as a sample once youve recorded it, it wont show up on the CF card when i hook the mpc up to my pc.

Anyone else have this problem?

It asks you to save your song as a sample? You got a better 1k than all of us then :D I think you mis understood 'save a sample', which saves one sample from the song (eg a drum hit, a guitar lick, a bass note, etc)

If you would like to save your song as a wav you'd need to connect the mpc to your sound card then use a wave recording program (eg Sound Forge) to record with.

Good luck

If your song is from one source, and the MPC, you can play back your song, and sample the song. (Up to 12min w/ 128MB upgrade), then save it to CF, then transfer the .WAV of your song to your PC. I do it all the time.

Is that what you mean?

When you "save as a sample" after recording, that saves it to RAM. It doesn't save it to the CF automatically, you still have to do that in Mode:Save -> Sample.
