mpc 1k midi send

Hello

Just wondering how midi behaves going from the mpc. I've tried connecting it to my sound card with a midi cable going into logic. Everything works, apart from the midi coming from the pads Isn't in chronological order. It's the same with Ableton.

Well, I'm sure there's a quick and logical answer for this :roll:

All mpc's are pad mapped like that. You have no choice but to live with it.

Create a blank program, change all the pads to chromatic order and save program. Use that program in your autoload folder so when you boot up that chromatic program will be loaded and you have your wish. Put in work.

Thanks lamp. While we're on the subject... Is there a template thread somewhere? I have my own, very basic ofc, but would just be nice to see how other's are rolling. :)

I remember seeing blank templates for various mpc's being thrown around.
You'll have to search them out. And that order that you don't like is actual general midi spec, it's not a design mistake.
