ok heres what happend.........i jus finsihed trimin up a bunch of samples i recorded. i then loaded 2 programs that i downloaded from akai kotw. i wnet to thr pad bank D to assign the samples, when i got to d2 i assinged a sample then pressed the pad to listen to the sample there was a loud screehing noise that came out only thru the left speaker and it wasnt my sample while i was tryin 2 fix i pressed d3 pad and everywhere was filled up with @#%^^#%$@$^& stuff like that..the ranges , voumne and tune...everything, i checked a couple other pads and they were like that to.....then acouple seconds later a error message came up it said
CPU ADDRESS ERROR(READ)...............STACK DUMP and bunch of numbers

my question is has this happened to anyone else if so did it continue to happen.this is the second time my mpc froze on me , other than that theres been no problems.ive had it since like may or june.i jus want to kno if i should exchange it.

check if your sample is looped right.
I had weard things happening cause the loop region wasn't right.
Just check if the start is at 0 and end at end =) and not a very short region like only 5 or so.
Greetz..
