How to trigger other pads on the MPC ?

Hello,

Is it possible to play 2 pads simulteanous ? I dont want to layer samples. Just like the 2000XL trigger a pad with another pad. Ive red the manual, couldnt find it.

There's the simult fonction in jjosxl ......... Or maybe you can midi out midi in your mpc and assign pad A01 to trigger pad A02 for instance.

You need to plug a midi cable from output A to input 1 and create 2 seperate tracks with 2 different programs.
On track 1 , select midi output 2A and track 2 (which midi input is 2 by default) will receive the midi triggers from track 1.

That way when you hit pad01 on track 1 program 1 , it will trigger pad01 on track 2 program 2....

It should work , i mean in theory cause i've never tried that myself.

Oke thank you, but I was searching on the feature list of the JJ OS. Do I need the JJ OSXL, or can I install only JJ OS1 ? I cannot see the feature on the list.

oops sorry , pad simul 2 is available in jjos1&2 . Now check to see what are the differences between pad simul 1 and pad simul 2 .....
