Using different MIDI channels to control different tracks of

I use JJ OS1 at the moment.

Whenever a Midi input device, say a keyboard, is plugged into the MIDI IN of the MPC1000, it sends data only to the track that is currently selected in the "Main"view.

Is there a way to choose what track will receive the MIDI data regardless of which Track currently appears in the Main view?

yeah, you would need to upgrade to OS2XL, it has 16 channel input

Awesome, thanks mate, I just bought 2XL actually, haven't yet got round to learning it. You just saved me a lot of fumbling.

yeah, after over a year, there are still big features on 2XL (like patterns) that I haven't gotten around to learning. It's crazy how much a leap JJ was able to make above the stock OS
