PROBLEM: MPC whit REAPER

Hi,
I’ve problem to connect MPC whit Reaper. I wants to play on the MPC and the Reaper has a record. I’ve MPC 1000, cable MIDI ( MidiTech MidiLink Mini). I set MPC accordance whit the instructions. Reaper don’t see MPC. What is wrong? Please help.

does the midi device show up in here..



You have to then click on the midi device in the input section then enable it..

when you then create a track in reaper you have to make sure the input is set to your midi device...

Not sure Lamp can expand his mind, he seems pretty set in his thinking.

He is questioning whether you want to record the audio output of the MPC onto an audio track in Reaper, which can not be done with a MIDI cable.

Or, whether you want to send MIDI data from the MPC into Reaper, to trigger a sound source within Reaper, which does not send the audio signal from the MPC into Reaper, but does use a MIDI cable.

Ok, so how I can get the audio track in Reaper?
