saving sequences as a song... problems

ok, so i have my 7 sequenced song
-intro, main1, main2, hook, mid-tro, hook2, outro

each sequence has multiple PGMs for drums and samples

i usualy use a track for each instrument, kicks, samples, hi-s, snares, bass, etc...

now after all this trouble of programing it in song mode, i want to save it as a song, put it on my conmputer, and in 3 months move it back and not have to remember what goes where and for how long, but just play the samn song and load the appropriate PGMs

now for somereason when i save it as a song, my samples get mixed up, i get snares in my kicks, kiks, as my samples, samples as my hi-s, etc...

has anyone else experienced this? am i doing something wrong?

i had the same problem...the solution was to copy tracks that don't follow the pattern set by the tracks in the other sequences to a track not used by any of the other sequences...in my case, i had kicks on track 1 for Seq. 1 but horns on track 1 for Seq. 2...you get the idea?....if you use kicks on a particular track for one sequence make sure you use kicks on track 1 for the other sequences....did that help?....king of hard to put into words

personally i don't even save the shit as a song file or whatever. as long as you know the order of the sequences all you have to do is keep them in the same folder. i seperate my songs by folder and number the sequences in the sequence they will be played.
