and tell me what he did to change sampled record sound.

And here is another artist he uses the same type of effect

It sound to me like its timbre has changed and sound like its pulsating now. Is that just MPC 1000 sound or he applied some specific effects I think i can hear delay.
Probably this is question to more advanced beatmakers/producers.

In Vid one he is using 16 levels to simulate a delay effect.

AKA,
"Cascading".

It gives the echo a mechanical on beat sound thats sounds different than a independently/traditionally generated echo.

Gives it the mid-90's pete rock sound.

I like his off metronome neo-soul drum program.
I wish I wasn't WAAAY too anal retentive to ever even try to do that myself.
(I'd begin to hyperventilate and break out in hives.)

But I like it when other people do it.
