a patch for using the usb on win98

yea will the mpc1000 work with windows 98 through the usb or do i need a patch or something? i remember some1 saying something about this a while ago.

Win 98 isn't supported. If your gonna use USB you'll need a USB card reader/writer. You'll need other versions of Win, i.e. Win XP, if you wanna hook your mpc directly to it.

We know the official line, but: if it's 98SE, there is a theoretical possibility of getting something going with patches from a maker of a USB card reader. I don't have any names or methods to give you, but if you find something that works, folks here will want to know!
