I encountered this issue about 5 yrs ago and it has always been a serious pain in my ass. Ive searched high and low, posted at the Logic Forums, etc. to no avail, so after a while I just decided to live with it and create a workaround of my own where I essentially make a 1-bar click track at the beginning of my sequence which lets me beat match to the grid later on in Logic - this is obviously a bit ridiculous and time consuming considering that's the entire point of midi sync in the first place, am I right?
Well after a long hiatus of not really making much music and getting back into the swing of things I've decided I'd like to address this issue once and for all so this time I've documented the problem via a screen capture which I hope will better illustrate whats happening here and possibly lead to a "real solution"...
