sliders shagged already?

Both sliders on my 1000 are now not working. I already returned the first machine I got because of this problem. Anybody else having the same problem.

Anybody solved it without returning it to Akai???

in the upgrade 1.04, theres a slider test, did you try it

I don't think I need a test! They don 't work, however I'd like to try it -but there is no mention of it in the documentation. How do I do it?

Slider test: Hold SHIFT and sequentially press D, C, B, A
(thanks to MPC3000 for finding it)

If they pass, then we can go from there... back to the Manual, probably..!
