Shift+Note Repeat function not working

I am using jjos ver 3.14, I don´t know why but "shift+note repeat" fuction doesn´t work on my mpc1000. Any help would be appreciated.

probably the tact switch under the plastic button. They break very easily and are a common problem. Do you have the buttons working by themselves?
I guess you are trying to toggle the note repeat on and off yes? So you should see if main screen changes when you hold tap and again if you hold shift. If one does not work then this function will not work as one tact switch is not working. I would put money on the shift one not working btw. So say if you are in program and highlight volume you should see the other hidden options when you hold down shift like select all.

no you do not
this could break the PCB underneath. Not very likely but you are stressing the PCB by applying lots of force and it will make it worse. You need to get another (better) tact switch and solder it in. OR get some one you know that can solder electronics. Or get it fixed. Do not make it worse by pressing harder on it ok
