I was in the process of bypassing the MPC converters to sum a mono signal through my RME interface, into a Moog LPF and back into the MPC. Recorded the audio with analog input, but accidently switched the input type to digital. This resulted in a blast of digital noise through my system. My external meters reacted as well. When I began to edit and chop the recorded sample there was no audio outputting from the MPC.
Powered down/reset the MPC and now things are back to normal. Could this cause any internal damage?
