Hi all,
I have been an MPC user for awhile now, but have always relied on my trusty MPC 2000xl.
While I love my 2KXL the limitations with Zip disks are really starting to get on my nerves, and I am hoping that an MPC 1000 with a hard drive will (hopefully) solve some of my problems for me.
I am looking at getting an MPC 1000 and installing a hard drive into it. As far as I am aware I will be able to keep all of my samples on the hard drive and import them as necessary (a dream) - but my question is, will I be able to keep whole albums or songs on the hard drive and import them to chop as well?
The scenario would be that I load up my MPC hard drive with whole albums, and I can then go through different songs, listen to them and chop out the bits that I want.
Am I dreaming here or is this possible? I'm assuming I would need a large hard drive and max out the ram, but is this a feasible option and would it work well?
Thanks a lot,
M
