Hi,
I've scoured the site and am completely stuck. I've had my MPC for about seven years and until now have experienced no problems with it while syncing.
Currently I can't get sync to work. I reverted to AKAI OS as the instructions discussing PAD9 (MIDI/SYNC) all referred to 'MODE' and the JJOS free did not have this. I reverted and found that the particular menu for MIDI/SYNC is the same in the AKAI OS as JJOS free.
Through fiddling around and finally changing the USB port for my MIDI cable to a different one I can get the MPC to respond to me pressing play in Cubase.
What happens now is I press play and the project plays but the MPC plays the first beat and then jitters its way very slowly through the sequence. The 'Play' light on the MPC 'jitters' too. It would seem the message is being sent this way, perhaps, but that's as close as I can get it to responding to Cubase at all.
Any suggestions?
