I use to work with a MPC2000XL. What do y'all think about the MPC1000? Are you glad you bought it, or should you have gotten the MPC2K or MPC4K?

im happy with my mpc 1k i use to own the 2k but i like the 1 k cause of the computer friendly use.

the 1000 is pimp. If you are lookin to work with the computer more then the 1000 is the obvious choice. IF you can't drop the cash for the 4000 of course. But all equipment specs aside, it is really in your head and not in the equipment when it comes to delivering the phat beats.

But if you are an MPC fan of any number, then the 1000 will get the job done.

sometimes I get tierd of the back and forth betwwen the cpu and 1000, Iwish it had a faster down load fron the usb.

Bye a usb to compact flash adapter so you dont have to carry your mpc to the computer. It only costs like 20 dollars

I was just wondering, how exactly does this USB to Compact flash adapter work and why should I get it?????????????????

By the way I'm loving the MPC 1000.

its just a flash card reader that you get for your computer

you plug it into the USB slot on your comp
and whenever you want to move files you just take the CF card out of your MPC and put it into the little flash card reader
it treats your card as another hard drive
its really not to different
except you can leave your MPC on all the time and jsut move files around while still workin on the beats
