Step sequence off time when i record.

I have JJOS 3.16 and an MPC1000. Basically, when i record a drum pattern, it sounds on beat as i'm recording it but when it plays back, the notes are a 1/16th too early. when I check the step edit(Pad 15) it also shows that the note is early and i have o nudge it.

for example, if i play four on the floor, the 2nd line is what gets recorded

hope this makes sense, i can't figure it out. it started 2 weeks ago. PLEASE HELP

are you recording by hitting pads or programming with step sequence?
If your hitting pads it seems like you just out of time a little bit. Turn off the Quantize and try it. see if it is the same result
