hey fam,

last night went to bash out the beat battle, and cos wifey was watching some garbage on TV i had to use my headphone out. to my surprise, it doesn't work anymore.......

my shift button went about a week ago, jog wheel is starting to glitch / jump and im starting to wonder if my entire PCB board needs replacing.

anyone had the same shit go down?

searched to no end. got some pretty funny thread about a guy who couldnt find the headphone out lol

pretty close to chucking the thing and programming from the HR.

Definitely worth opening it up, and re-seating the connectors. They can just oxidize over time, disconnecting and re-connecting them can make a renewed connection.

I say this because while the shift button is something that can just die, and the jog wheel too (less likely though, just with the way encoders work), the headphone out failing is unlikely something due to a bad button PCB.

can of deoxit and some air managed to fix pretty much everything haha :WTF:

shift button is a bit sticky still but its working. will keep me going until i have time to replace the tact switches, which a friend whos handy with soldering offered to help us with.

Thanks man, would of stuck the thing in the cupboard otherwise lol
