Hey guys,

Just bought a used MPC1000 last week, blue edition, i just put JJOS Free on it. I'm loving it - coming from the SP world it's like a serious step up, specially having an actual GUI...

Anyways i got some problems with my Q-Link sliders whether trimming or tuning samples. Totally erratic stuff (slider up might bring value up for a few secs but will randomly go down and back down without me touching em

Now i know what y'all thinking: yes I did find a few threads on here that talk about sensitivity and all but if i actually pull up the sliders real hard while slowly going up or down it actually works without going crazy. Feels like a contact issue or dust or both...those openings under the sliders are effin' huge....

Any input on this? Getting some dust-off in there should fix it or is it something that could be more serious as a recurrent issue with those series (MPC was supposedly bought new 4 years but the guy barely touched it)? I don't mind using the wheel for trimming (so far it actually feels easier that way) but i could use those big ass sliders for pitching up/down so i wouldn't mind getting it fixed...What have you guys done to fix it efficiently?

Thanks doods
