Sample cuts short....

Hi there,

has this happened to anyone else??

I've got an 8-sec keyboard sample which loops perfectly over the space of two bars (I haven't actually set it as a loop - I just worked out the bpm etc). I've copied this into lot of different sequences - which is fine - until the beat I've been working up underneath gets more complicated. the sample triggers off fine but cuts off short (when it gets about 1/4 the way through a seq).

Am I doing something wrong? or is this a glitch?

Any help would be appreciated...

I got this on a couple of my beats.. is like the polyphony limit is reached but sometimes it could be like just 3 things playing at once... i havnt had the problem for a long time... dunno if thats fluke or its where i updated the OS but seems cool to me..

I also get it. I guess must be a bug since the polyphony is 32 on the mpc1000.

I'm on v.1.04 - I'll try & get the latest tonight & see if it makes a difference.

Is there any way to increase the polyphony? I'm certain I'm not anywhere close to using 32, but maybe I'm just mashing the pads to much(?).
Could I be accidentally trigging a lot of in-audible Midi data?

Guess I'll just work around it....

I have the same problem , 2 bar loop being cut off and i definatly haven't reached the 32 polyphony limit , i'm using only 8 tracks.
But it's strange , i noticed when muting some stuff it starts playing full again.
