Random Sample Triggering in Left Channel...Anyone?

I am running JJ OS2XL 3.49 on a blue with the thick pad upgrade & 128MB.

Every so often when i am using the MPC (either running as a sound module with a DAW sequencer, or using the internal sequencer) random samples will start triggering. This will happen until i stop the sequencer. It is always only in the left channel, but happens over the digital, analog and headphone outputs.

Wondering if anyone else has seen this behavior and if there's something i can do to fix it?

Ok, so I have "fixed" this problem and thought I'd share it here.

It seems that something is buggy with my MIDI port A. when I stopped using it, the problem has went away. I will look into it farther, see if i should replace it but for now i can get by with just the 1 port.

Ok so that worked for a few days but now it is back....

Back to trying things. 1st off i will try a different OS. If that doesn't work i guess ill open it up and look around. I've heard about corrosion on the MIDI jacks so i will look for that.

If anyone has any other suggestions, help me out!
