Help connecting MPC to Ableton & fat pads

Hey guys, been lurking here for years but time for me to ask questions -

1. I bought a VicTsing USB IN-OUT MIDI Cable and i tried to fiddle around with the settings but really have no idea how to use my MPC 100 either way with ableton. Any help/steps would be much appreciated!

2. Thinking about buying fat pads and the conversion kit because i have the old red/blue mpc and the old style pads - worth dropping the $$?

Check out the MPC TUTOR book on MPC / Ableton - all of his stuff is great, very practical and easy to get into.

1000 pad conversion is def worth it, fat pads I could go either way on but a lot of people really like them.

This type of cable isn't worth a **** don't expect it to work good. Buy anything branded (e-mu, roland, other music gear making manufacturer) in 20-30$ range

No sales planned ATM, come on, it's only $20

not saying it won't work at all, but these cables got serious flaws, and if illogical problem occurs when conneccting to Live - exchage cable.
