how to fix non-responsive button?

So, the 'up-arrow' button stopped working. For a while it still worked when I pressed extra hard on it, but now it has stopped working altogether. I found some stuff on repairing it, but all those methods require a certain level of skill. I don't know a whole lot about electronics, and don't feel comfortable opening up the machine and trying to fix it. Has anyone on here dealt with the same problem and found a way to fix it?

You have no choice but to open it up if you want to fix it. Try DeoxIt D5 first. If that doesn´t help you´ll have to replace the tact switch or find someone to do it for you.

Where are you located?

I live in Amstedam, Netherlands. So I could probably find someone who knows how to do it. I'll look into it though, thanks!

does anyone else have an idea?

for anyone experiencing the same problem: i fixed it by opening up the MPC and just blowing on the contact switches; turned out they were just dusty.
