!!Help, MPC 1000 Pad and Pan Glitch !!

Hi,
This problem came out of the blue today I need anyones help.
So my MPC is glitching when I try to use the pads, if I'm tapping/hitting them in any situation they automatically trigger the mixer and start panning and turning the volume up and down on the samples that I'm using and tapping, I have no idea what caused this.
I really need help fast please !

It sounds like the pad issue may be related to gravity. As far as I am aware, Akai never tested the pad sensors in space.
