Storage Data / Sample Time

Hello fellas,
I'm considering to buy an MPC 1000, I would like to know how many samples I can load in it (with expanded RAM/ Hard Drive...). I would use it to trigger long ambiences so I need at least 30 minutes of samples trigger.
Is that possible?

For stereo samples the sampling time is divided in half. You can´t use the hard disk to extend it, so 30 minutes long samples aren´t possible, not even when using exclusively mono samples.

If you just want to trigger long samples the Roland SP-404 is more appropriate.
