Problem: I save projects but it doesn't save them completely

Dear friends,
I have this issue with my mpc 1000
i make a program with different samples, i save on a sequence different tracks, so i can play with track mute and so on.
Then, I save everything in a new folder.
When i start the machine again and i load, sometime it load everything correctly.
BUT other times, it doesn't save correctly. Like, for example yesterday i saved the project i was working.
It was the second time i was working on that project so the first time was saved correctly, and I had 5 tracks recorded.
Yesterday i added like another 5 tracks, and saved the project and overwrote it.
Today when i opened the project, only 5 tracks are recorded on that sequence, so basically i lost all my work of yesterday. Just the new samples are saved in the folder (at least).
This is getting really annoying because i cannot rely on a machine which doesn't save correctly!

ANy suggestions please?

Are you loading the folder or the project file? I find if I load the folder things load strangely, but if I load the project file I don't have any issues.

yes, i load from project file.

yes, I usually save entire memory!
I overwrite the project.
but still, some tracks are gone

I know this is very old, but maybe it helps someone what i discovered today, as i was struggling with the same issue.

My problem was that i had sequence1 that contains program1 . I have saved it as a new project, next day all worked as expected. Then i wanted to make a new track and I've made sequence2 and I have changed the sequences and samples for each pad, i jam on it, hit save (entire memory-1). Next day all my progress was lost.

Why? Because I was changing seq2 pad samples but did not made a new program for them, basically i was editing an existing program. When i tried to save, i said no to replace existing names so program1 was not replaced. Next time when i opened the project all program editing that I've made were back as they were when i first saved my project.

So it's important to create a new program if you wanna change pads samples in an existing project
