I got a M-Audio Audiophile USB external soundcard hooked up to my PC. I got the mpc on the L + R 1/4 IN, and L+R RCA out to my 2 Rockit 5 speakers.

Ive been having problems with some interference noise coming out of the headphones (pluged into the card) and the L speaker. When i turn the volume on the Audiophile, the L speaker pops too... I've been talking to M-Audio on how to fix it, but so far, nothing... It has to do with the IRQs for the USB ports, and maybe my drivers not up to date??? No solution yet.

What kind of cards do people here use with there mpc for the PC. I may need to switch up my whole setup, because this noise issue sucks...

I had the same problem for my laptop, except it happened only when I had the ac adaptor hooked up. So i had to go on battery power when ever i wanted to record or output anything to my other PC. I took it back and got the echo layla 24. I use Delta 10/10 for my desktop PC and that works great too.

Oh, so maybe if i used a back up battery powerstrip for the plugs for the speakers, and the Sound card only... maybe that would clean up the fuzz. Its strange how the card makes the speakers pop when the volume is adjusted... maybe an mbox is in order...

M-Audio Delta 66...four analogue inputs, could have been made to go along with the 1000! Got an Edirol 2x2 MIDI interface as well.

Echo Indigo I/O. I didn't plan to buy it - already had a UA-20, didn't think I needed it. A guy I work with bought it, found it didn't work in his laptop, sold it to me for a good price. And it was good. 8)
