Not sure what you mean by "the rest of the song" - each Sequence will have its own Tempo that takes effect when you select it, right?
Can you tell us what's happening step by step? I'll take a look when I get home later.

---

First I thought you meant that you want to play the same sequence at different tempos in the same song, like:

Sequence01 94.0
Sequence02 94.0
Sequence03 94.0
Sequence02 120.0

That won't work, there isn't a separate "song tempo", whatever you set there affects the Sequence itself. (manual pg 36, "Tempo Field")
You would need to copy the Sequence before you set the new tempo.

i haven't messed around with song mode yet. Ill check it out tonight... when i am just playing sequences for myself or somebody, you can just turn the dial to the next sequence, and it will start the new sequence right on the 1. That just for playback though...

Does the song mode have a specific Tempo it sticks to, or is it the sequence that carries the tempos into the song mode?

page 39: Setting all sequences to the same tempo.

Is this what you mean?

you can set the tempo to MASTER (which will overide any specific sequences tempo) or SEQ.

read the manual, it tells you how to sync the tempo of all of the loops together.
