Hello folks !

i am preparing a liveact situation with a mpc doing drumparts...

i have all 64 pads assigned to different drumsparts (kicks, snares, rims etc.), each playing his won individual pattern - later coming in and out with the MUTE feature...

now the question:
is it possible to swap / move tracks ?
my idea is, for example, to move the kick from PAD B1 to A1 with all the pattern it plays or change C 14 with A 3...

is there an easy and fast way to achive this ?

after doing many patterns i came to an good set, but its really very mixed over the different pads, so i need ( for fast MUTE actions ) to clean it up a bit...
(pressing 7 buttons at the same time with 3 on group A the 3 on C and one on D ??? impossible ! )

thank you very much for any good suggestion...

greetings from germany,
peabird

"move the kick from PAD B1 to A1"

None of the MPC's have been able to do this easily. The only work around has been to change the track type to MIDI and use the Transpose feature in Seq Edit to move the note data and then change back to DRUM.
