MPC 1000 Midi/Sync to Pro Tools M Box

Peace and Respect I am new to the forums!

My name is Sci and I have a Midi Question?

Ok I have the MPC 1000 and I would like to track my Beats to Pro Tools via the M BOX interface. I am wondering if i can do this with the Midi Man Uno 1 X 1 cable or do i need the 2 X 2 Midi interface?

If I can use the 1 x 1 please expound on how this is done?

1 midi in - 1 midi out should be all you need...unless you have other external gear you want to sync at the same time using pro-tools
