Just wondering if there's any way to accomplish dynamic compression on the MPC1000. Just to be clear, I don't want flat dynamics re the 'Full Level' button, more to limit the dynamic range so that say pads play notes no lower than VEL 35 and no higher than VEL 98 for example, and any notes below are brought into that 35-98 range automatically? I can do this on Ableton, etc with MIDI, just wondering if there's a way to do this within the MPC 1000?
