I've been using the MPC v2 software for a while now using an MPD. I thought since I've invested some money in expansions I'd export some of those expansions out to the MPC 1000 I just acquired.
I've tried exporting directly from the MPC software, but the file names don't meet the 16 character limit and fail to load from the .PGM file.
I've also used Chickensystems Translator and while that sort of works it seriously jacks up the pad mappings.
Does anyone have a working method of doing something like this? I'd love to be able to use samples I've already been using while I learn the MPC hardware workflow.
