CF/MAC installing JJOS issues

MPC1000 V.2.13 July - 2009

Attempting to download free JJOS to my MPC1000
Apologies if I'm not sharing info that's needed or I'm missing an obvious step..

My SanDisk 16gb will not show on the desktop thru my CF reader,
so I plug MPC1000 into my comp via USB w/out CF inserted.
Then insert CF and go to load window and it "NoName" quickly comes up on the desktop.
I double click on it and the loading circle shows for about 30 mins.
I drag and drop "MPC1000_JV316(1).bin" to "NoName"
Reads "preparing to copy to 'NoName'" for ~30mins
"The finder can't complete the operation because some data in 'mpc1000_jv316(1).bin' can't be read or written. (Error code - 36)"

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

The file is named incorrect, this could be the problem. Looks like you've downloaded it to a folder that already contained a copy of the OS so you got the extra '(1) added. File name should be

MPC1000_JV316.bin

I just tried this and got the same message.
Could it be an issue with my card format?

Try to reformat the CF card

Fat 32... don’t format it as anything else.
