a few question

hey i want to lower the pitch to some track and I'm doing it with the q1 but I cant record it cause if change it it changing the record so there is a way to record it or other way to lower the pitch and slower the track
and second question after I'm chopping a sample and doing it a program there is a way to ending the slice after I make it a project?
