Function button tact replacement issue(still not working)

Bought this 1000 recently and noticed the function buttons 1, 2 and 5 only worked if you pressed them hard.(as well as the cursor buttons). So I soldered in new tact switches for all of them. This worked worked great except but 2 and 5 completely stopped responding.(even tried resoldering them).
I ended up buying a new function PCB board from MPCStuff and the problem still persists! Does anyone have any idea what’s going on? I’ve searched this forum and haven’t found anything specific to this.
