Hi, first ever post...
I'm wondering if there's a way to approach editing breaks in the early stages to get them to fall a bit tighter with a metronome for creating smaller phrases which can then be re-edited...
like in the first couple of minutes of this video:

but how one would approach for the MPC 1000? — or if this kind of thing is even possible?
my end goal is to be working with sections of breaks that are tighter timing-wise
