My Mpc seems to slowly drift out of sync when in slave mode.

Did anyone of you encounter the same issue?

My preferred workflow with the MPC is to build a beat first and then record the separate tracks solo-ed into my daw one by one. I let Ableton be the master so all the tracks have the exact same starting point.
But now I discovered that my MPC slowly drifts out of sync (more than a 16th!)
which makes this very quick and fun workflow useless...

Would this be hardware or JJ-os related?
And does anyone have an alternative workflow?

Many thanks!

if you need to record beats into Ableton you could just have the metronome play before each track, record the metronome audio in and then just line up all the clicks at the end.

its an option to enable it if you hit click (F2 i think ) from the main screen

How are you syncing it? Do you have a sync box? I ask because it's going to drift if you just match BPMs in the DAW and hit play and record.

The only way I can get it work the way you want without any drift is I use an e-rm sync box. This really helps since you are going track by track and each time you record if there is jitter, the tracks wont feel the same like they did inside the MPC.
