does mpc1000 come with built in speakers, what do i need ??

i have a dell 866 mhz pc with a factory sound card, am im going to buy a mpc 1000, but before i buy a mpc 1000 i really wanted to figure out how i am going to be able to play my mpc 1000, i have no clue on what i need to be able to use my mpc 1000 , what kind of hardware do i need??? like for instance, i take it that the mpc1000 does not come with any kind of speakers, so even if i did go buy the mpc 1000, i just could not take it out the box and start making beats right there and then, or if i do buy it and the first day i start experimenting how am i going hear the beats i am trying to make , if it does not have any built in speakers what am i going to do or what am i going to need to be able to hear the music iam working on. could i hook something up from the back of the mpc1000 to my dell pc sound card with some kind of connection or wire, so i can hear the beats in real time from my pc speakers??? i dont have a lot of money so im hoping i dont have to shell out even more money after i spend $999.00 on extra hardware just so i can hear what i am doing on my mpc, i hope i can just break the mpc1000 out of the box and like i said start experimenting and hear what i am doing in real time out of (hopefully)?? the built in mpc 1000 speakers???.... if not can any body help me figure out what i need to be able to enjoy my mpc1000, like what kind of hardware i would need at the least at a cheap price, it would be great if i could be able to have my beats play right out the mpc1000 or if i just needed to connect it up to my pc sound card and play it threw the spekers hoked up to my pc,i have been making beats now for 1 year on my pc with reason 2.5 being my drum machine [redrum] ive looked all over the internet for the questions ve had and there's nowhere that gives me any info on this (possibly because this is such a simple question)??????? can some one please help me with my problem giving me all the info i need

Please try before you buy, or you wil get dissapointed.......

the mpc1000 is really made for use without the computer, the computer is only handy for sample arranging and storage..

If you want to sequence your beats with your computer buy a good rack sampler or jomox airbase or so... and save money..and get better functions for what you want...the mpc1000 can be limited you know...
still i love it just the way it is...

For sound, buy a pair of powerd monitor speakers... alesis or tannoy..

Right dood Hope said it, all ya gonna need initially is a pair of half decent headphones if you got no amp or speakers etc. I wouldnt bother hooking up to the PC speakers, will sound S***!!
I found the best way to learn the 1K was just plug the baby in with ya head phones, nice comfy chair, bit a erb and away ya go.
Like void said it really is a stand alone machine and you can do all you want with it as far as beat composing goes, but you will eventually need an amp, speakers, mixer for ya outs etc, but first off mate just get in that manual with a pair of phones on ya head.

i knew it was kind of a stupid question but when u are new to the game what else can i do but ask stupid questions, i guess it kind of bothered me that people were making fun of my question,(especially veteran mpc drum users) but i dont own a mpc and like i told another guy on another forum i have personally never seen a mpc drum machine ( 1000 or 2000xl or even 4000) up close the closest i have gotten is by looking at pictures on the internet,and thats the closest ive ever been to a mpc drum machine, untill then im just going to have to keep asking very basic questions, i had no one else to talk to about my mpc 1000 question, from what i know the 1000 is a sampling,Sequenceing drum machine,but honestly i really didnt know how i could hook it up and be able to work on drum patterns and hear the sounds at the same time... i dont own a reciever nor do i own a mixer,all i have is my computer,reason 2.5 and my midi keyboard, anyways, to the people who gave me a straight answer thank you very much......... i very much appreciate your help on this matter, to the people making jokes about my question, dont be so quick to put another person down just because of their so called stupid question!!!! ( im just trying to educate my self and this is one of the few places i can do that) if i was in your shoes and i had the experiance you guys have, and a newbie asked me a question like the one i had asked, i would give him a stright answer so he could educate and improve him self in this business...... instead of putting him down and maybe turning him off this business,but still after all i have said, i got nothing but love for the people on the mpc forum.........again, thank you guys for answering my question...... im still happy i joined the mpc forum
