MPC1000 strange problem

I've had my 1k for about a year and a half, and some of the buttons aren't responding well at all. I have to hit the Bar < > buttons really hard for them to respond. Also, the timing isn't off, but the display for the timing in the LCD is way behind the actual bpm. what's the deal?

I had the same problem, I sent it in to the tech support in California
then they called me talkin about there is no problem..
when I got it back it was magicly fixed
