Man even when I ran my 2KXL with 32mb I never came clsoe to filling that. 128mb??? Naww,, never.. not even close. I dont see how someone couls use all that unless they are loading libraries and libraries of sounds at one time, but who uses all that unless you straight jacking long ass samples, or building some crazy orchestoral piece.
the reason its important is you can resample and save beats with 128mb. If you record it some other way its not an issue really

My beats usually take 15-20 megs, but when I work on instrumental tracks I use maybe 30-40.... Not even close to the 128 MB, but it feels very liberating to know that there is no problem to load up additional percussion or something if I should need it.
its true i hadfly ever use all the available space but this is due to having a 2000xl and having to be careful with how much ram i use so i still keep the same work ethic. but its good for when i need to use it.
been a few times when it tells me i'm only allowed 64 samples or suttin like that.
My songs are about 4-5 meg, and that includes programs when I don't even use all the sounds. But to me the advantage is being able to load accapellas, and load up about
The most used so far has been 60-70MB consisting of an instrumental mixdown from Cubase SX + the MPC 1000 drum samples which rarely take up more than a few MB's.
