Adding acapella vocals and scratches inside MPC 1000.

Does anybody take advantage of the fact that the MPC 1000 can record audio while there is a sequence playing? I know you still have to assign it to a pad once your finished and then trigger it but think of the possibilities.Dropping acapellas over your own beats, scratches etc...I used to do this on my MPC 2000xl except for it can't record audio and play a sequence at the same time so alot of times getting vocals off a record to line up on beat was a pain in the arse.Man I am really impressed with this thing...
