MPC 1000's "effect limitations"

So, the MPC 1000 effect-engine is limited to two effects at one time right?

But, does that go for the master effects too? Or are they on their own?

you can asign upto two effects per pad.
you only get 2 effects total, ontop of that, you get a master EQ, and compressor.
