Making my purchase

Hi everyone. I'm about to buy the 1k from dolphinmusic.co.uk for 549. im aware that once ive started using it for a while i'll feel the need for a memory update. i've seen many threads suggesting different upgrades i should purchase, and i'm trying to seak out the best one to make, and where from.

to be honest, considering the usb feature, i didn't think lack of memory would be too much of a problem. im content with storing all my completed material on my laptop, and only storing the samples and tracks that im currently using for a beat on the machine.

i was wondering how much the cables to hook the machine up to my hifi system are likely to be, and what they're called?

also, can anyone recommend some good headphones to purchase?

the memory update has nothing to do with how much is stored on the mpc, its how much at a time can be used. lets say you load 13 samples that add up to 16mb, that means you cant load any more to ram because the ram is full. the compact flash is were the songs are saved to. I use the AKG 271 headphone, they work nice
