I have tried numerous amounts of times and read the instruction manual on how to connect the MOC to the computer. I have that part down. The problem is actually getting the beats I put together to play on the computer. I am tryign to burn the beats onto a Cd. But I can not get it to play through computer at all. I am using audcity. Are there any other free software programs out there that i can use to simplify the process.

What software program is Bluebox?

Save all your seq as a song
Convert from song mode into one seq
Save as a WAV
Connect MPC through USB to comp and just drag it and place it where you want
Burn Away!

The song file and seq files that the mpc creates are not audio files. they need to be converted. the only thing that can read those files is the mpc.
If i understand what you want to do, then follow below.

(this is if you don't have the 128mb memory upgrade) you said you are using audacity. what you will need is a audio cable to connect your mpc to your computer. the kind of cable you can get is a 1/4" male to 1/8" male. you would then take the 1/4" end and plug it into the headphone jack on the front of the mpc then take the 1/8" end and plug it into the 'line-in' jack on your computer. launch audacity then press record then on on the mpc press play. by doing this, you are streaming your mpc through your computer and being recorded in audacity. then you can save the file from audacity as a wav file.

(if you do have the 128mb memory upgrade) press mode + record then select main out as the source then pres play. when your song is finish press stop and save as sample. the mpc automatically saves samples as wav files then you can just transfer it over to your computer via the usb connection.
hope this helps

I wouldn't use the headphone jack your audio might suffer.

Look at the input(s) on your sound card, get a stereo cable that has your soundcard's connection on one end (probably 1/8") with two quarter inch TRS jacks on the other end. Plug the two TRS plugs into the STEREO OUT L and R on the back of the MPC and the other end of the cable into your soundcard.

You may need to set up Audacity to record through the input on the soundcard and you might want to check Window's Volume (the speaker icon in the taskbar, or you can find it in Control Panel). Hit record in Audacity and start playback on your MPC!
